BEACH BEFORE SNOW

Howdy all. I have one more day of peace before a long day of travel- been spending my last weeks in Rehoboth Beach, DE baking in the sun, hanging with friends and making fun of the heaps of goons walking around the boardwalk.

Strangers, family, and all of those inbetween people creepin' my site, I’m Lifty Mike from the East Coast in Pennsylvania. Six months ago, I turned the twenty. Big whoop, right? Well, apparently it is a big deal… or enough of a wake up call for a lazy-ass irie dude like myself to figure out there was so much more to see in life.

Six months ago I decided to take a chance, risk some life savings, and travel to New Zealand in search of an adventure… and SNOWBOARDING!...fuggin' right!

Okay, the cheesy intro put aside, getting down to the facts. I signed up for a snowboard instructor training course with the Rookie Academy in Wanaka, NZ. For two months, I will be shredding the sides of Treble Cone Ski Field getting certified to teach snowboarding during the day and how to party New Zealand style at night.

I just finished up my post-season job as a pizza delivery guy. lots of interesting stories from that... raked in a decent amount of cash for my trip... which is in 12 fucking days!!!!
